Ann was born in a station wagon along the Caribbean at sunrise in the Dominican Republic to missionary parents and has been going 90 MPG ever since! She lived in Costa Rica, has done missions work herself in Honduras and Zambia, Africa and has traveled throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. After graduating from William Smith College in Geneva, New York, she married her college sweetheart, soul mate and best friend, Wesley, and together they raised their three sons: Scott, Mark and Ben.
In their home church, Ann has been very active in the music/worship arts, children’s Sunday school / VBS and couples/marriage and parenting ministries with her husband. Their most recent venture was becoming Certified Leadership Parenting Coaches through the John Rosemond Institute, which allows Ann and her husband to come alongside other parents and help them with child-rearing issues. It has been a rewarding endeavor...You can find her/them at www.ParentGuru.com!
Ann enjoys singing, playing the piano, painting and writing. She is currently published in four books: two anthologies and one collaborative work entitled The Expert Success Solution (due out in Jan. 2015/ see her book page) as well as her very own "MOMMY MEMOIRS~ A Hilarious and Heartwarming Look at the Trials and Triumphs of Being a Mom". It is a non-fiction humorous memoir about motherhood (of course) published by Morgan James, of NYC and is available as an eBook, paperback and audio book, on Amazon.com at this link: (amzn.to/1aajgku)
Most importantly, she loves being a wife and mother! She considers it a blessing to have been a stay-at- home mom and is now an empty nester, enjoying her new and exciting role as grandmother.
Ann and her husband have begun writing their bucket list but as yet, have not slowed down. They have made their home outside of Buffalo in Western New York for the last thirty years.
